Approve Resolution establishing Ad Valorem Tax rates for the fiscal year beginning 10/1/13

Description of Action

The Administration recommends Commission approval to maintain a current City Operating millage rate of 5.9998 mils for the coming FY’13 fiscal year and further; recommends that the voter-approved Debt Service millage rate be approved at .2690 mills to provide funds for annual loan repayment of voter approved general obligation bonds.  The Administration recommends Commission also approve and publically announce the City’s 2^nd, final Public Hearing for annual Ad Valorem Tax and the annual City Budget to be held on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 5:01 p.m. at Dania Beach City Hall Commission Chambers
